Brazil, Canada and Portugal: Building Technical Bridges for Mining Investment

We are pleased to announce that Plus Natural Resources (+NR) has joined the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC).

For +NR, this is more than a membership. It is a strategic step in strengthening our role as an international engineering and project management company capable of connecting technical capability, investment discipline, and real project execution between Brazil, Canada, Portugal, and other global markets.

With roots in Portugal and Brazil, and active relationships across Angola, India, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Europe, and North America, +NR is well positioned to support Canadian investors, operators, technology providers, and financial groups looking at mining and natural resources opportunities in Brazil.

Brazil is one of the world’s most relevant mining jurisdictions, with significant potential in critical and strategic minerals, including lithium, rare earths, nickel, copper, graphite, iron ore, phosphates, gold, and other commodities essential to industrial development and the energy transition.

However, mining investment requires more than access to mineral assets. It requires technical clarity, realistic project evaluation, transparent due diligence, and a clear understanding of what is genuinely viable geologically, technically, operationally, economically, and logistically.

This is where +NR can add real value.

Our role is to help create reliable bridges between Canadian capital and Brazilian mining opportunities by combining international engineering expertise, project management experience, local understanding, and a strong technical network. We support investors and project owners in understanding the real potential of ore bodies and assets, separating attractive concepts from executable projects.

+NR provides multidisciplinary technical support across the full mining project lifecycle, including:

• Geological review, orebody understanding, resource potential and technical due diligence;

• Mine planning, production strategy, geotechnical review and operational concepts;

• Mineral processing studies, metallurgical testwork coordination, flowsheet development and plant design;

• Material handling systems, crushing, screening, conveying, stockpiling and logistics;

• Infrastructure, utilities, energy balances, water systems, access, roads, industrial facilities and site integration;

• Equipment selection, procurement strategy, vendor evaluation and technical specification;

• Tailings, waste management, environmental recovery and reprocessing opportunities;

• CAPEX and OPEX (TOTEX) modelling, economic evaluation and investment screening;

• Project execution planning, contracting strategy, procurement support and operational readiness;

• Brownfield optimization, debottlenecking, plant improvement and production recovery.

Beyond the technical work, +NR also helps connect the right people: investors, mine owners, operators, laboratories, engineering partners, equipment suppliers, contractors, and local stakeholders. Our objective is not only to introduce opportunities, but to bring structure, transparency and technical credibility to the investment process.

We believe that successful mining projects are built when technical reality, economic discipline, responsible development and execution capability are aligned from the beginning.

Through our association with the BCCC, +NR looks forward to contributing to stronger Brazil–Canada cooperation in mining, infrastructure, energy, and natural resources helping transform promising opportunities into technically sound, investable and executable projects.
